Questions and Answers with Graham Norton Show - Blogger Style

MC: Miriam (Create Hope Inspire)
Panel Members include: Megan (Mousehouse) & Deb (Works in Progress) & Kristy (Paisley Jade) & Simone (Great Fun 4 Kids)

A panel style discussion/chat consisting of a series of set questions covering some of the key areas of interest for bloggers. It will be both serious and funny - rookie mistakes; followers and when people stop following; what's your take on privacy and why; blogging etiquette.

Workshops

Participants will have the choice of three options:

There will be a choice of two one hour workshops consisting of a presentation, some practical elements and question and answer sessions. For those not interested in workshops, there will be the chance to relax and get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.

1. Techy issues  with Meghan (MNMs)and Talia (Talia Christine)

This session will be about the practical elements of making your blog work. How to make a button; how to make a header; and tips for improving your photos and layout. This workshop will take place in a customised computer suite with wireless internet and a data projector. (Limited to 34 places)

2. Making it work with Sophie (Sophie Slim), Simone (Great Fun 4 Kids) and Stella (The Golden Adventures of a Very Dark Horse)

This workshop will cover advertising - how to use it; how to approach companies; ways to go about making it happen. Also how to use social media to promote your blog and how to write a media kit including where to get information that you might need to write your media kit (e.g - google analytics). At least a third of the session will hopefully consist of question and answer time.

3. Keeping it Casual

While the workshops are going on, there will also be space to hang out. This is also an opportunity to craft, chat and relax.

Other speakers yet to be confirmed.

  1. Hiya, is there a possibility of having the workshops repeated in the afternoon? I can't choose which one to go to :)
