Megan! Hello =)

Megan is an impressive talent. Everything she makes is beautiful. I always go away from her blog feeling inspired. I can't wait to hear her share her thoughts on the panel at Bloggers Connecting.

My name is Megan Hoskin

My blog address is www.mousehouse.co.nz

How long have you been blogging for? 4 years

What on earth made you say yes to speaking/answering questions at this event? It was so lovely to be asked I couldn't say no! And I used to do a few presentations when I was a full time teacher and even though I always was soooo nervous before them, I really enjoyed sharing ideas and talking to like minded people.

How do you feel about meeting new people? I enjoy meeting new people, especially people with the same interests/obsessions as me!

What is the best thing about blogging? Connecting with like minded people, sharing ideas and seeing the world in a different way.

Please choose 5 words to describe your blog: craft, ideas, kids, design, home

How do you spend your days in real-life? Mostly at home with my 2 and 4 year olds (they go to daycare a couple of days a week so I get some craft/blogging time then- some of these days I do relief teaching at my 5 year olds school), too much time on pinterest ;)

What is one thing you’d like to change about yourself? I would like to be able to focus on one thing at a time but tend to always to have various projects on the go at once and jump from job to job at home instead of just finishing one first!

What is one thing you love about meeting bloggers or reading blogs? I love being inspired by other bloggers especially their crafty projects, parties, cooking/baking (which I need a lot of help with!) and just reading about what other people get up to in their lives, here in NZ and overseas.

What is something you are really proud of? My three kids, and surviving having 3 kids under 4 and coming out the other side :)

One blog post you love: My dollshouse reno post back in 2011 hdomesticblissnz.blogspot.co.nz/2011/07/mousehouse-dollshouse.html

  1. Megan's busy book http://domesticblissnz.blogspot.co.nz/p/my-busy-book.html is one of the coolest handmade things I've seen online. Ever, I think. Just looking at it I thought, man, this is awesome, I want to try making something like that. And I haven't done it yet, but it's sitting in the back of my mind somewhere so that one day I'll make a page, and then maybe another one. It's, like, so full of colour and, I don't know... happiness.

  2. Woohoo!! Megan is such an uber talent! Can't wait to meet you!

  3. So looking forward to meeting you Megan - will be great meeting the person behind the drool-worthy blog!

  4. Looking forward to catching up with you Megan :) x

  5. Will be lovely to meet you Megan

  6. It will be so nice to meet you!

  7. Oh! Totally understand - I wish I could just stick to one project, finish it, then start the next. I probably couldn't count on two (or more) hands how many projects I have on the go at any one time.
