Another Super Prize Opportunity

Sophie (and the team) have been working very hard on some wonderful wee surprises for you by way of spot prizes during the weekend but this is one you need to think about before the weekend.

The Parenting Place (which is a New Zealand parenting resource centre doing all sorts of amazing stuff by kiwi's for kiwi families) have offered us 2 free places on their toolbox courses.

A toolbox course is a 6 week course that gives you practical, positive, applicable tools, tricks and skills to use with your children. You have a choice of Early Years (0-5), Middle Years (6-10) and Tweens and Teens (11+)

I cannot recommend these courses highly enough. The Atlas (my hubby) and I have done the EY and the MY courses and found them wonderful. You don't need to feel like your parenting is falling apart to get some great stuff out of the courses.

These courses are $67.50 for a single and $90 for a couple. But for 2 lucky participants you get to attend as a couple or single for free! You can pick a course in your area at a time that best suits you (obviously it will also come down to availability). You also get a massive manual and a magazine sub as part of the course.

The Parenting place would ask if you win this prize that you would be prepared to blog about your experience of the course.

So if this sounds like you there will be an opportunity at the weekend to throw your name in the hat and we will select 2 winners before the weekend is out. Exciting aye?? You can find out more about the toolbox courses at their website.

If you have done one of these courses I'd love you to leave a comment so other participants know what you got out of it :o)

  1. We (Mr B and myself) did the Early Years course last year and really enjoyed it! I still occasionally refer to the manual and its full off awesome ideas and some great stuff we did during the course to be awesome parents. Would reccomend it to any one with young children.

  2. Wow that is a great opportunity!! The Parenting Place is great, I've never done any of their courses but been to their coffee/book shop a heap! :) I definitely need help with those Middle-Year children right now....

  3. I've done two of their courses and can't reccomend them highly enough. Will definitely be throwing my name into the hat!
