Nice To Meet You, Chelsea

Chelsea is another new-to-me Christchurch blogger - we seem to be everywhere. Aside from her amazing smile I love how she chose her blog name - check it out on her about page, and don't forget to say hi while you are there :o)

My name is Chelsea Houghton

Where do you live? Christchurch

What are 5 words that describe your blog? Family, media, culture, sustainability and Christianity combined (Sorry couldn't manage 5!)

Why did you decide to come to this get together? When my friend Rachel told me about it last year

What do you most hope to take away from the weekend? Networking with other bloggers, tips for running and managing my own site.

What is your biggest hurdle to coming? 3 children under 4 years old

Do you know any of the other bloggers who are coming? No (gulp)

Would you describe yourself as an introvert or an extrovert? An introvert who can stand in front of a crowd and talk.

If you were to participate in a reality TV show or competition TV show – what would it be? And why? Something involving gardening, cooking, and organising because that's a lot of what happens around here

Have you been to Christchurch before? (unless you live here of course!) Born and Bred

  1. Hi Chelsea! can't wait to meet you! Would love to have you at one of our next chch bloggers get togethers! :)

    1. Yeah I'm very keen. Only recently discovered other Chch bloggers

  2. I find your blog fascinating. I've never known anyone that's involved in Catholic church before. I know OF people who are, but I've never known one personally, and so reading your blog has been a little bit like reading travel literature - reading about places I haven't been to myself. And I don't really have a better word to describe this experience than - fascinating. I've learned quite a bit!

    1. Thanks. Glad you've got something for it. Love your travel analogy :) I think thats the great thing about blogging, you can get insight into other worlds, lives and cultures without leaving your own.

  3. Hi - looking forward to meeting you! 3 kids under 4! Been there - very recently :)
