Hello Lovelies - just thought I'd give you an exciting heads up - a few of our wonderful, crazy talented and lovely Chch bloggers can't come to the whole weekend but they are going to come for dinner!
I don't have photos for all of them but I figured that just makes it a little mysterious no?? (actually I tried to find a photo on Emma's blog but I couldn't so she's the only mystery lady!!)
So I'd like to let you know about:
Becky - super creative, super mum - who I am very much looking forward to meeting. Becky always seems to be doing all those cool things with her kids that I would like to do but don't manage. Her blog is really inspiring to me, life changes have meant she can't come for the whole weekend but she'll be with us for dinner!
Nin - what can I say about Nin? I love Nin she is SO talented (amazing NZ designer - check it out!) and she also has this heart that seems to be fuelled by generosity. If you have time on Friday I so recommend a trip to Orange Tree cottage - see/try/buy clothes and other wonderful treasures. It's a beautiful place to be.
Emma - uber crafty, clever Emma is a maker of all sorts of wonderful. She's also lovely and easy to talk to. :o) If you have a little thing about origami papers and lacquer you will love her stuff.
Kirsty - Kirsty is a powerhouse wrapped up in a sweet, kind and softly spoken package. Super generous and encouraging. She is the brains behind the Make Cafe.
Jamie - is one of our lovely team who's weekend plans have turned upside down for all the best kind of reasons but she is still coming for tea - I'm glad about that. Jamie is just filled with goodness and even though that may seem strange, when you talk to her I'm sure you'll agree.
Lucy - I'm super proud that Lucy comes from Christchurch. She is the brains behind the felt website. Like Kirsty she's wrapped in a softly spoken package, she has many reasons to blow her own trumpet but you'll just find her enabling creativity wherever she goes.
