All About Deb

Today it's all about Deb - the other day I was talking to a friend and she said to me 'reading Deb's blog is like being invited into her family and into her home'. I think that is very true. Deb is a wonderful crafter but she also has such wisdom and a beautiful heart. She is also part of our team and speaking on our panel. (You're going to love her!)

My name is Deb

My blog address: http://www.deb-robertson.blogspot.com {works in progress}

How long have you been blogging for? Since 2005

What on earth made you say yes to speaking/answering questions at this event? I'm passionate about empowering others to be the best that they can and I get so much from blogging I want to encourage others to make it a great experience too.

How do you feel about meeting new people? In a setting like this, it's going to be fun. We are all connected already by our shared interest and it's going to be a blast!

What is the best thing about blogging? Sharing life with people who have the same interests and passions as you, no matter where they live.

Please choose 5 words to describe your blog: Pretty, messy, real, inspiring (I hope) and constantly evolving

How do you spend your days in real-life? I've been married to David for nearly 21 years and we have four children aged 19, 17, 10 and 3. We have two dogs, two cats and three chickens. We run our own business from home. I spend my days running the house, cooking, cleaning and badgering my kids to do the things they need to, sneaking moments to sew (mostly while other people sleep) working at my day job (Health and Safety) and soon to be student at Canterbury Uni.

What is one thing you’d like to change about yourself? Wouldn't it be great if hair stopped growing where you didn't want it to. No more waxing the eyebrows or shaving the legs. That would be fantastic!

What is one thing you love about meeting bloggers or reading blogs? We already have a such a base of things that we know each other likes, it's so easy to have a conversation.

What is something you are really proud of? I'm proud of the fact that I keep on learning and challenging myself to learn new things.

One blog post you love? I wrote a post about my son called: "the boy in the hoodie". I put my heart into that one, it's about loving unconditionally.
