Blackbird's Max Says Hi

Max is one of the Christchurch team. She's also one of those people - you meet her, you love her. (And her accent is totally edible). Max is also the creator of the worlds most amazing, thrifty, crafty doll's house makeover. She and Megan from Mousehouse have to be my favourite interior designers on a miniature scale.

She also runs an op-shop show off linky every Tuesday.

My name is Bennett. Max Bennett. Hi *waves shyly*

Where do you live? In the lee of Mount Thomas, near the Ashley River in North Canterbury. aka Rangiora.

What are 5 words that describe your blog? Me, makes, finds, family and home

Why did you decide to come to this get together? To meet of my favourite bloggers in person, and to find new 'local' blogs to follow.

What do you most hope to take away from the weekend? New friends, memories of a good time, new blog-related ideas. (and a goodie bag :0))

What is your biggest hurdle to coming? A newborn in arms (apologies in advance for the noise!), anticipated related lack of sleep and potentially not being able to drive in, if I need a caesarean delivery...

Do you know any of the other bloggers who are coming? I do feel like I know many of the other bloggers from blog following, even though I don't really, but I have had the privilege of meeting several christchurch bloggers, and a finer bunch of people you couldn't hope to meet. I'm working on the premise that all bloggers are as warm, interesting and funny, in which case it's going to be an awesome weekend!

Would you describe yourself as an introvert or an extrovert? I'm much more likely to debate the different theories of introversion and extroversion with you (sorry, ex-psychotherapist here!) but on the continuum I'd say temperamentally I am closer to introversion but life experience means I'm quite comfortable meeting new people.

If you were to participate in a reality TV show or competition TV show – what would it be? And why? Oh dear, I am at a bit of a loss here as I don't watch the telly, but probably one of those bake-off ones. Why? Cause cakes are nice and 'Survivor' is not?

Have you been to Christchurch before? (unless you live here of course!) I lived in Christchurch for 6 years when I first moved to NZ from Yorkshire, and am lucky enough to still be only a stone's throw away.

  1. and she has just had an ADORABLE little boy!

  2. Cant wait to meet you - whoop!
